St Petersburg Best Dog Parks

If you’re looking for a great place for your four-legged family members in St Petersburg, you may want to check out one of the city’s official dog parks. St Pete is home to a half-dozen dog parks, many of which offer plenty of space for your dog to run around and have some fun with other dogs, or just get in some exercise.

Here are some of the best dog parks to choose from in the city:

Northshore Dog Park

901 7th Ave NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

North Shore Dog Park sits near the waterfront in Downtown St Pete. This is an off-leash dog park that’s also fenced-in and about one-acre in size. When you’re done at the park, you can always walk your dog to the pier as well.

Coquina Key Dog Park

3595 Locust St SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

Coquina Key Dog Park is an off-leash dog park with high fences and drinking fountains. The park has a designated area for small dogs and large dogs, plus there are also some trash bins and waste bags. This park has a “time-out” area for pets, too.

Lake Vista Dog Park

1401 62nd Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

Lake Vista Dog Park is a large park with an off-leash area and a fenced-in dog run. You’ll also find some water fountains, plus some dog bowls and waste-bags. There’s even an area for dogs to go for a “time-out” when they need one. When you’re ready to leave, you can always put the leash back on your pet and take a walk through the rest of the park, including some of its trails.

Kenwood Dog Park

401 20th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713

Kenwood Dog Park is a fenced-in dog park in St Pete that allows your pet to play off-leash. The large, three-acre dog park is one of the newer options for pet owners in St Petersburg.

Walter Fuller Dog Park

7901 30th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710

Walter Fuller Dog Park in St Petersburg has an off-leash, fenced-in area with a separate place for small dogs. You’ll also find some nearby drinking fountains and fire hydrants, plus some trash bins and waste bags.

Crescent Lake Dog Park

617 12th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Crescent Lake Dog Park also has different areas for small and large dogs. At about one-acre in size, the fenced-in park features some drinking fountains, too.

The Dog Bar

It’s not a public dog park, but The Dog Bar is a great place to take your pet. This private, off-leash dog park and sports bar is a unique place where pets must have a membership, but there’s plenty of space for everyone to have some fun.
